The helmet is complete with all the original gilt fittings, metal cross piece, spike and rose bosses,including the white leather backed gilded chin strap.
Helmet plate or badge is of the Victorian Crown pattern, all fittings remain in un cleaned untouched condition.
The only visible damage to the helmet ,is to the helmet spike,which has a slight bend at the very top.
The interior of the helmet remains in very reasonable good condition, sweat or hair grease stains from the period are present.
Inside of the helmet are the owner's name and tailor's label details.
