WWII original 10th Mountain/ski troops USGI First Edition Model 1942 Aladdin 1943 mountain troop camp stove. The mountain troops of World War II used this stove at Camp Hale, Colorado before the Model 1942 modified was developed. What makes this stove unique is the wheel used to adjust gas flow instead of the later version knob on the 1942-MOD version. The early Model 1942 was also made out of steel instead of aluminum like on the 1942-MOD version. All Model 1942 stoves are stamped "1943" as they were developed in 1942 but produced and fielded in 1943. Original label on the side intact. Stove pump does not hold pressure and is untested. Cage will need to be tightened as it's currently a little loose. Rare to find and a very historical item from WWII 10th Mountain Camp Hale
